Welcome to Zachary Lane Elementary, a community school where everyone feels like family and reading is a really big deal!

In our school we embrace a culture of kindness and belonging. Students, families and community come together to make the school better. We put books and reading at the center of our daily experience.
We celebrate literacy with connections to our world and our lives, and experiences like Literacy Night and our Read-a-Thon. Zachary Lane boasts an environment that will create a passion for lifelong literacy.
We use a rigorous hands-on approach to our learning. A maker space inspires innovation, imagination, problem-solving skills, and teamwork.
Our community garden is a real-life science laboratory and involves a broad community of family and neighbors.
The arts are a major focus at Zachary Lane: visual art, band, orchestra, singing, dancing, and drumming spur self-expression, social growth, and just plain fun.
Families love our school and it shows. A large, active PTA annually sponsors enjoyable activities each year, with a little something for everyone.
YOUR K- 12 PATHWAY
Students who complete elementary school at Zachary Lane will enroll in Plymouth Middle School, which offers an optional dual-language/ immersion Spanish track.
