WEATHER ALERT: Some dismissals were delayed Thursday, May 15, 2025, due to tornado warning

Dear Robbinsdale Area Schools families and staff,

At 2:35 p.m., per our safety and severe weather protocols, we delayed dismissing students due to a brief tornado warning, which has now passed. If buses were already moving during the tornado warning, the buses and remaining students on board began returning to the buildings, and are now continuing their routes.

We are staying alert and monitoring the weather as we are under a tornado watch until 8 p.m. Our buildings will proceed with severe weather safety procedures, including getting all students and staff to safe internal locations, if needed.
