Summer Meals

The federal Summer Food Service Program (SFSP) was created to ensure children could continue to receive nutritious meals during summer vacation. Robbinsdale Area Schools is a local sponsor of the USDA Summer Food Service Program.

Where can I pick up summer meals?

Meals are available Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 10:30 a.m. to noon at Cooper High School, Northport Elementary and Neill Elementary.

Cooper High School
8230 47th Avenue North, New Hope MN 55428

Northport Elementary
5421 Brooklyn Blvd., Brooklyn Center MN 55429

Neill Elementary (Beginning Monday, July 20)
6600 Medicine Lake Road, Crystal MN 55427

What does it cost to be on the program?

Absolutely nothing! Meals served through the Summer Food Service Programs are FREE to ALL children ages 1-18.

Why is the SFSP program important to our community?

Good nutrition is essential for learning, and the SFSP provides an opportunity to continue the physical and social development of children in our community by providing nutritious meals while on summer vacation. With SFSP, children will play and grow throughout the summer, then return to school ready to learn.

Lunch Room Recipes You Can Make at Home

Robbinsdale Nutrition Services has been working hard to come up with new, updated recipes. We firmly believe healthy eating patterns are essential for students to do well in school, enjoy the time they spend with their friends and family, and fully develop mentally and physically. Furthermore, these habits have been linked to reduced risk for mortality and prevention of future chronic diseases.

Robbinsdale Nutrition Services lunch menus offer kids a wide variety of foods that are both nutritious and delicious. Cooking new recipes is a fun and engaging activity that can be enjoyed at home!
